Hello, my name is Mrs. Anna Goss and I am a third grade teacher at Sequoyah. I received my Undergraduate Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Tennessee at Martin and my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at Trevecca Nazarene University. One of my favorite aspects of teaching is watching students discover  new learning and the excitement that fills their face when they realize how proud they are of themselves. Teaching is a joy and passion I love pursuing. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, planting flowers, and shopping!

My name is Amanda George. I graduated from Dardanelle High School in 2006 and from Arkansas Tech University in 2011 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and son, and planning more trips to Disney World!

Teaching is my passion! I love getting to know my students and helping them learn in the way that is best for them. The most rewarding part of teaching is knowing that I am helping students learn skills that will help them to be successful as they grow. I also love being greeted by their smiles every morning!

Hello, my name is Susanna Summitt. I graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a degree in teaching, and then completed a Masters degree in English as a second language. I began my teaching career in South Arkansas and I am thrilled to be a part of the Sequoyah family now. My favorite part about teaching is watching children discover new things and thinking deeply. When I am not at school, I love to play the violin or piano with my husband, taking hikes, spending time with family and friends or just enjoying a good book.

Hello, my name is Hope Statham, and I am excited to teach your children this year!  I graduated from Arkansas Tech University and have been teaching for the Russellville School District since 2012.  I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a building level administration license.  The most rewarding part of teaching is the student connection piece.   We all bring our individual talents and strengths to the "classroom pool" which aids in our success as a whole.  Students connect, work, and grow together!  The hardest part of teaching also ties in with this process.  As educators, we want all students to leave our classrooms feeling successful and connected through  academics and school relationships daily. We want to ensure that all of our students' needs are met in and out of the classroom. Sequoyah is a HAPPY place to teach and learn!  Besides teaching, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, making jewelry, working in the yard, and motorcycle riding with my husband.  We have two children who attend RSD schools.  Go Cyclones!
